“I am so proud to be here with all of you today,” said Laphonza Butler, President of SEIU ULTCW as she addressed the crowd of 250,000 from the main stage at Temple and Broadway.  “We come together to fight for justice!  Justice means that people are able to work for a livable wage, contribute to the economy, pay taxes that help build schools so their children will have an event better way of life than they did.  Justice means that we work together as a people without fear – recognizing the contributions we all bring to the American Dream and making this country great.”
